ASP Defender Decon

A unique cleanser specifically formulated to speed relief and recovery from OC exposure.

Every officer who’s experienced live OC exposure—whether intentionally in training or “second hand” on the street—knows that it’s miserable. It’s meant to be. The typical decontamination process usually involves clear air, cool water, sometimes dish soap, and a lot of painful patience. It can take 30 minutes to an hour or more to substantially recover using those methods; that’s a long time to be sitting out training or unavailable for service. That’s where Defender Decon comes in.

Defender Decon’s proprietary, eco-friendly formula lifts the oily residue that OC leaves behind, making it easier to blot off and rinse away. Properly used, the product can speed up initial relief and reduce overall recovery time. Every person and every set of circumstances is different, but officers and academy cadets who tried Defender Decon in a training environment reported substantial relief beginning as quickly as 10-15 minutes—much faster than their colleagues using soap and water.   

Available in a compact canister (the same size as a MK-4 OC can) or a 32 oz. sprayer, Defender Decon should be in every police vehicle and every training environment where OC exposure is possible.
